University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 180 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

University Radiology is looking for a full-time Mammography Tech Assitant for our Elizabeth, NJ Imaging Office

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm.

In this unique administrative role, you will be assisting our Mammograpy patients as they navigate through their care process.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Communicate with patients and prepare them for the exams on site in Elizabeth or at one of our other University Radiology Imaging Offices
• Patient film and report coordination
• Possibility to assist the Mammography Technologist with patient flow  
• Other office related tasks as needed

*May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

*may be asked to travel to other URG offices as needed 

• Excellent communication skills 
  
• Medical office experience preferably in radiology
• Knowledge of medical terminology 
• Enrollment in a formal radiologic tech program is a real plus
• Bilingual Spanish
