University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 180 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. University Radiology at Cooper is a partnership between University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology services in New Jersey, and Cooper University Health Care, South Jersey’s leading academic health system.

Responsibilities

University Radiology is looking for a Chief Technologist responsible for promoting and maintaining the standardization of imaging office operations, and developing and implementing consistent operational Performance Metrics.  They are also responsible for creating a standardized workflow training curriculum and process.  In addition, they manage the administrative and technical functions of their assigned Radiology office, including the day-to-day operations and the development, interpretation and application of office policies; budgets and long-range plans.  They are responsible for the direct supervision of the technical and clerical staff.

  • Develop and maintain standardization of imaging office operations
  • Develop and Implement consistent Performance Metrics
  • Develop and Implement training curriculum in conjunction with other URG Managers
  • Have overall responsibility for operations of URG office
  • Meet regularly with Manager and Clinical/Modality chiefs to collaborate on developing and implementing workflow standardization, modality accreditations and URG clinical policies
  • Responsible for up to date ACR certifications for each modality
  • Maintain accuracy of Modality Workbooks including all required Certificates
  • Ensures that DOHSS in Service, Inspections and drills are performed following the established schedule
  • Manages weekly payroll, PTO and office staffing schedule
  • Will be responsible for overseeing group-wide imaging office-related projects
  • Will work with other ATs in the development and management of clinical programs in conjunction with the radiologists
  • May be required to scan patients in modalities in which you are certified
  • Report personal PTO to Director of Operation and payroll manager
  • Act as a clinical Liaison between the Hospital (HMH) and URG leadership

Qualifications

  • ARRT registered
  • Multi-modality certifications preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisor/management position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Pay Range:

From $52.88 per hour

Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs.
